SOULFOLK (formerly Soulfood) is the magical musical mix of Bara Waters, Robert Cassard and Paul Manfrini, with Eli Cassard (Drums) and Marc Levine (Bass).
It started in the backyard, then moved to the beach. It gelled by the ocean one moonlit summer night in Laguna Beach on a tennis court full of friends, neighbors, tourists (and even a few police). From that point forward, as Soulfolk's lineup solidified, so did our style and sound: 1 groovy beat + 2 guitars + 3 voices in close harmony.
The first shows took place at Laguna Beach's Canyon Lodge in the summer of 2008. Since then, Soulfolk has performed at many private events and public venues including:
